Infusionsoft’s visual Campaign Builder has been significantly enhanced in the Fall 2012 Release to provide access to the full suite of Infusionsoft’s sales and marketing automation features, including those that were previously only available through legacy sequences. Though I love each and every enhancement, I’ve culled the list down to the five I think you’ll enjoy most.
1. Visual Campaign Reporting
A picture is worth a thousand words, which is why the new visual reports within the Campaign Builder top my list of favorite features.
These end-to-end reports (accessible under the newly added “Performance” tab) help you measure the effectiveness of your campaigns. Active View displays the number of contacts currently in your campaign (upper blue number) and how many have stopped moving forward due to inaction (lower orange number).

The Historical View displays the total number of people that have gone through the campaign over time. Both reports are also available at the sequence level and allow you drill down to the list level.

2. Multi-Media Communications
The communication options within a campaign sequence have been expanded beyond email to include voice broadcasts, letters and faxes, giving you the option to reach customers in new ways. Plus, the recently added “Send HTTP Post” option allows you to connect with third-party apps to send text messages.

3. New Delivery Timers
Timing is everything. That’s why the Fall Release includes two new timers to give you precise control over when your messages are delivered. The Date Timer triggers messages and actions at a specific date and time, while the Field Timer triggers messages relative to a date on a contact record, such as a birthday, anniversary or custom field date.

4. More Workflow Automation Options
Sequences within the Campaign Builder have been enhanced to include everything needed to streamline operations. In addition to being able to apply/remove tags, apply notes, create tasks and create opportunities, you can now add a step to assign an owner, create a fulfillment list, run an action set and send an HTTP post. These new options ensure that anything you could do with legacy sequence, you can now do with the Campaign Builder.

5. Color-Coded Publishing Status Icons
The Campaign Builder has been updated so that the status of every item can be identified at a glance based on color. Gray items haven’t been edited yet; stripped items have been edited and are ready to publish; green items are published and active.

Don’t miss out! Watch a short video about the new Campaign Builder features found in the Fall 2012 Release.
